On February 11, 2025, a walk-in report was filed with the Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong> involving a past sexual battery and molestation of a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An investigation was conducted on the report. On February 14, 2025, Catherine Tyson <\/strong>(41 years old, white, female) and Marcus Tyson<\/strong> (41 years old, white, male) were subsequently arrested for Sexual Battery of a Child Under the Age of 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 15, 2025, a Lafayette County Justice<\/strong> Court <\/strong>set Mr. and Mrs. Tyson\u2019s bond at 75,000.00 Dollars. This is still an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
