Originally set to close in February 2025, the\u00a0<em>Taylor Swift: Through The Eras<\/em>\u00a0exhibit brought in a record attendance to the Mississippi Museum, drawing a record number of visitors and students since it opened on Friday, August 23, 2024. Sponsored by <strong>Visit Mississippi<\/strong>, the exhibit celebrates the 14-time GRAMMY\u00ae winner\u2019s prolific 19-year career \u2014 from her 2006 self-titled debut album through to 2024\u2019s <em>The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the overwhelming public response, the exhibit has welcomed students from across the region through educational workshops supported by the <strong>Maddox Foundation<\/strong>, providing unique learning experiences that explore Swift\u2019s impact on music and culture. Extending the exhibit through summer 2025 allows even more students, schools, and families the opportunity to visit, ensuring greater access to this one-of-a-kind educational experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to announce that we are extending our\u00a0<em>Taylor Swift: Through The Eras\u00a0<\/em>exhibit at our Mississippi Museum through August 31,\u201d said <strong>Emily Havens<\/strong>, Executive Director of GRAMMY Museum Mississippi. \u201cThe exhibit brought in so many people from Cleveland and beyond, driving a record attendance for the Museum. We\u2019re excited to continue to bring the story of Taylor Swift\u2019s prolific career to life for even more visitors and students in the coming months.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now extended through August 31, the exhibit features artifacts, instruments, and artifacts that represent each of Swift&#8217;s 11 eras, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The BCBG Max Azria dress worn on tour in 2007<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swift&#8217;s custom Taylor GS-6 \u201cSparkle Guitar\u201d played throughout her Fearless Tour from 2009\u20132010<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A red sparkle top Gibson Les Paul played by Swift during her Speak Now World Tour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Custom Marina Toybina ensemble and LaDuca boots worn during her performance of \u201cWe Are Never Ever Getting Back Together\u201d at the GRAMMY Awards in 2013<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Custom Jessica Jones bodysuit and jacket and Christian Louboutin boots worn during her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gibson J-180 played during Swift\u2019s 2019 City of Love concert in Paris, celebrating the release of her seventh studio album, Lover<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oscar de la Renta dress and Christian Louboutin shoes worn at the GRAMMY Awards in 2021<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stella McCartney coat worn by Swift on the cover of her 2020 album evermore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free People coat worn in the music video for \u201cLavender Haze\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maticevski gown and gloves worn in the music video for \u201cFortnight\u201d (feat. Post Malone)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>GRAMMY Museum Mississippi is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from noon to 3 pm. The Museum is closed on Mondays.
