Annual meeting provides opportunities for innovators, small businesses in state<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Innovators and future business owners in the Magnolia State<\/strong> will soon have an opportunity to learn from experts in the field at the 10th annual Mississippi Entrepreneurship Forum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration is open for the forum<\/a>, an annual gathering where economic developers, aspiring business owners, students and entrepreneurs can learn about operating successful businesses in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are excited to convene the 10th annual Mississippi Entrepreneurship Forum in Ridgeland this year,” said J.R. Love<\/strong>, assistant director of economic development at the University of Mississippi<\/strong>‘s\u00a0Insight Park<\/strong><\/a>. “Our planning team is committed to advancing economic development across the state through a collaborative approach.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum is slated for April 3-4, 2025, at Embassy Suites<\/strong> in Ridgeland<\/strong>. Entrepreneurs at any stage of business development can network with peers and those who have successfully begun operations in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual event is organized by the\u00a0Grisham-McLean Institute for Public Service and Community Engagement<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Office of Economic Development<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as a part of the\u00a0Catalyzing Entrepreneurship and Economic Development<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0initiative. A committee of representatives from all Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning<\/strong> schools and statewide organizations also support the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previous events have been held in Clarksdale, Tupelo, Greenwood, Oxford, Jackson, Vicksburg<\/strong>, and Hattiesburg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the CEED initiative, the 2025 Mississippi Entrepreneurship Forum receives funding through a grant from the Robert M. Hearin Support Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
