Plus, since it\u2019s Clarksdale\u2014an epicenter of blues heritage known for its 365 nights of music and over a dozen annual festivals\u2014there will be plenty of epic performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Like last year\u2019s successful event, this year\u2019s Friday<\/strong> (2\u20138 pm) and Saturday<\/strong> (11 am\u20138 pm) pop-up theater is conveniently located inside Stone Pony\u2019s Tack Room<\/strong> at 226 Delta Avenue<\/strong>, downtown. The Sunday<\/strong> (1\u20134 pm) music venue is just the next street over at Bluesberry Cafe<\/strong>, 235 Yazoo Avenue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Friday\u2019s evening movie feature is the world-premiere of Talkin\u2019 Clarksdale<\/em><\/strong> featuring guests Tommy Slack <\/strong>(director, flying in from Scotland), Demmette Guidry<\/strong> (producer), and Adrian Forrest<\/strong> (producer). Saturday\u2019s evening feature is the Clarksdale premiere of the new \u201cMississippi\u201d John Hurt<\/strong> film, A Man Called Hurt<\/em><\/strong>, featuring Mary Frances Hurt<\/strong> (granddaughter\/executive producer), Jamison Stalsworth<\/strong> (director), and Andy Cohen<\/strong> (performer).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Other featured films explore the links between the Delta landscape and the music, ongoing Civil Rights struggles, jazz history, Robert Johnson<\/strong>\u2019s legacy, a rare French-made blues film that\u2019s part-fiction\/part-documentary, the globe-trotting adventures of a one-man band and more.
