On Friday, December 6, 2024 at approximately 1 pm the Lafayette County Sheriff<\/strong>\u2019s Office was dispatched to a call about someone had shooting at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies arrived on scene and the victim advised the suspect had fled from the scene.\u00a0 The victim stated the suspect identified as 24 year old Eddie Jerome Tyson Jr<\/strong>, from Taylor, Mississippi<\/strong> had lived at the residence prior before being evicted from the residence earlier this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigations was contacted and arrived at the scene and found where Mr. Tyson Jr. had shot at the victim 3 times striking the victim\u2019s vehicle one time.\u00a0 Investigations worked the scene and located three spent shell casings and one live round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Tyson Jr. was arrested later in the evening at his residence.\u00a0 Mr. Tyson Jr. is charged with Domestic Violence \u2013 Aggravated Assault [97-3-7(4)].\u00a0 Mr. Tyson Jr. bond was set by a Justice Court Judge<\/strong> at $75,000.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
