On November 14, 2024, a sergeant from the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> responded to
a report of suspicious activity at a residence located on Chickasaw Road<\/strong>.
Upon arrival, the sergeant approached the backyard gate and heard a noise from a
tampered window. Seeing movement inside, the sergeant spotted a suspect in a red
jacket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect, later identified as Quentin Maynor<\/strong>, 32, of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>, attempted to flee but
was apprehended following commands to exit the residence. After securing the suspect,
Maynor was then transported to the LCDC by an officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the sergeant and an officer responded to a similar report at the same address.
After inspecting the property and finding no intruders, they secured the residence. The
homeowner confirmed he had closed the back window and set up a camera before
leaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the latest inspection, the sergeant observed signs of forced entry, including a
broken window and new items, such as a visor and black shoes, near the window. The
officer also found a phone and key fob inside, which were collected as evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Maynor was charged with Burglary of a Dwelling. His bond is set by a Municipal Court
Judge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
