RIDGELAND, Miss<\/strong>. (October 25, 2024) \u2013 C Spire<\/strong>, a diversified telecommunications and
technology services company, has named Deshone Thompson<\/strong> the new market manager for
Oxford<\/strong>. Thompson will be instrumental in optimizing the customer experience, supporting
market growth for retail and enterprise sales, and managing Oxford’s daily operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m excited to join C Spire and serve the customers and the community by delivering
exceptional experiences and the technology they need to improve their lives,” shared
Deshone Thompson. “The Oxford market is a very important one for C Spire and I look
forward to working with our team here to bring even more value to customers.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born and raised in Oxford, Thompson brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection
to the community to his new role. Thompson was previously Director of People with Chick-
fil-A <\/strong>and an area representative with Fellowship of Christian Athletes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is exciting to have Deshone, an Oxford native, as our new market manager,” said Bonnie
Meadows, vice president of consumer wireless sales. “His background in managing high-
quality customer experiences in a fast-paced environment, leading a sales team, and
managing store performance will be a great asset for the Oxford store.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thompson, a U.S. Air Force<\/strong> veteran, is married, and they have three children. He is a
former Elder and Director of men’s ministry with the Community Church of Oxford<\/strong>.
Thompson is also a Junior Leadership Steering<\/strong> Committee member. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

C Spire has had an Oxford retail location since 1991 and also has a business office on the
campus of Ole Miss<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
