The daylong event includes discussions on financial technology advances and trends in mergers and acquisitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Michelle &#8220;Miki&#8221; Bowman<\/strong> is this year&#8217;s keynote speaker. Bowman was appointed to the <strong>Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System<\/strong> in November 2018 and is serving a term that ends in 2034.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Kansas, she previously served as state bank commissioner and vice president of <strong>Farmers &amp; Drovers Bank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are thrilled to have such an amazing lineup of speakers at this year&#8217;s symposium,&#8221; said <strong>Ken Cyree<\/strong>, dean of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/usw2.nyl.as\/t1\/306\/72qd801ttax117p0vq3rk10tp\/2\/3500df0a40fa8d1553cb45e16eb73eec8f82db44a65e9ed1f824ffdd403a30c9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">business school<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In our breakout sessions, we have concurrent sessions that cover open banking, regulatory impact after the election, cybersecurity and the dark web, and growing your bank in uncertain times.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The symposium begins with the <strong>Women in Finance<\/strong> breakfast featuring <strong>Yolett McPhee-McCuin<\/strong>, head coach of the <strong>Ole Miss Women&#8217;s Basketball<\/strong> team, and <strong>Jill Castilla<\/strong>, president and CEO of <strong>Citizens Bank of Edmond, Oklahoma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>John Augustine<\/strong>, chief investment officer and economist for <strong>Huntington National Bank<\/strong>, and <strong>Greg Adelson<\/strong>, CEO of <strong>Jack Henry &amp; Associates<\/strong>, will also deliver keynote speeches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other speakers include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Charles Potts and Anne Balcer, Independent Community Bankers of America<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matt Maxey, Synovus Bank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>John Smith, Quantum Six<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ashwin Vasan, FS Vector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gordon Fellows, Mississippi Bankers Association<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scott Mills, William Mills Agency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark Dreux, ID Dataweb<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>David Maimon, SentiLink<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>David Peterson, First National Bankers Bank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jimmy Sawyers, Sawyers &amp; Jacobs LLC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paul Davis, Bank Slate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jim Rieniets, InsBank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bart Smith, Performance Trust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neil Stevens, Oconee State Bank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wade Peery, FirstBank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hannah Horobin, MX<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Naomi Camper, American Bankers Association<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/usw2.nyl.as\/t1\/306\/72qd801ttax117p0vq3rk10tp\/3\/b5be165a7b67f952ca06c9b242b7af059978ed32a2c7c9269460e3172fd54402\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registration<\/a>\u00a0is $95 and is open to banking and finance professionals, students, and alumni.
