The years 2021 and 2022 were good ones for baseball in Mississippi:<\/strong> not only did Mississippi State<\/strong> and Ole Miss <\/strong>win back-to-back Men\u2019s College World Series<\/strong>, Madison Central High School <\/strong>was named by Baseball America the High School Baseball Team of the Year in 2021, and the following year Pearl River Community College <\/strong>won the 2022 National Junior College Athletic Association Division II College World Series. This book, by a life-long baseball fan and a lover of all things Mississippi, gives all the details on those wins and is a must for any baseball fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A commemorative photo book of Ole Miss\u2019s \u201cimprobable\u201d (USA Today<\/em>) and \u201cmagical\u201d (Sports Illustrated<\/em>) College World Series run to become baseball national champions in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coach Mike Bianco<\/strong> has been Head Coach of the Ole Miss baseball team since 2001. Under his leadership, Ole Miss has appeared in two College World Series and eight NCAA Super Regional Tournaments. In 2022, Ole Miss won its first national championship. Bianco was named Collegiate Baseball National Coach of the Year in 2020 and 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kevin Graham<\/strong> was named a freshman All-American at Ole Miss in 2019. During his four-year career with the Rebels, he was consistently a top performer in the field and at the plate. He was named to the College World Series All-Tournament Team in 2022. In 2022, Kevin was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James R. Crockett<\/strong> is professor emeritus at the University of Southern Mississippi and adjunct professor of accountancy at the University of Mississippi. He is the author of four non-fiction books, all published by University Press of Mississippi. When Mississippi Schooled America in Baseball 2021\u20132022<\/em> is his first book with Nautilus Publishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neil White <\/strong>is the author of In the Sanctuary of Outcasts<\/em>. He has edited and co-authored a dozen memoirs and books on sports, including The Education of a Lifetime <\/em>and 60: A Year of Sports, Race, and Politics<\/em> (with Robert Khayat), Head On<\/em> (with Larry Csonka), Nothing to Lose<\/em> (with J.L.
