August 13, 2024 Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department<\/strong> responded to a reckless driver on Highway 7 South<\/strong>. A Deputy located the vehicle in question and initiated a traffic stop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the course of the traffic stop, the driver fled in his vehicle. Deputies pursued the car until it came the vehicle came to a stop on Oxford Way<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies took the driver, Wesley Keith Moore<\/strong> (33 years old) of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>, into custody. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the investigation, Deputies also discovered Wesley to be under the influence and had several prior convictions for DUI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wesley was transported to LCDC and given a $25,000 bond by Justice court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
