Early bird registration is open for The University of Mississippi<\/strong>\u2019s 3rd annual It\u2019s All Relative <\/em>Family Business Symposium<\/strong><\/a> September 10-11 at the Sheraton Flowood Refuge Hotel & Conference Center<\/a>. Hosted by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/a> (CIE), this open forum is designed for business leaders, family business owners and employees to discuss longevity in family-owned businesses<\/strong> and the trending topic of sustainable business practices.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a part of the Legacy Leadership program, the CIE Family Business Symposium welcomes family businesses from an array of industries. In the context of the broader market challenges faced by family businesses, these enterprises come together at this annual symposium to share solutions and draw insights from industry leaders for sustainable growth across generations. \u201cThis year, we are focusing on generational succession and continuity for your family business.\u201d says Dr. Clay Dibrell, Co-Director of the CIE. \u201cThe goal of the symposium is to provide a foundation for all MS family businesses to become more successful by learning cutting edge best practices.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ken Williams, President and COO of Corinth Coca-Cola Bottling Works<\/strong>, will commence the symposium by sharing insights on managing a family business established in 1905 and preparing it for future success. John Stephenson, the Vice President & Head of the Cathy Family Office at Chick-Fil-A Corporate Support Center<\/strong>, will shed light on the role of a family office and its significance in supporting the family throughout leadership transitions.
