On June 11, 2024, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> was notified by a department in another state that that a person had contacted a minor over social media sending sexually explicit videos and pictures.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation led to the discovery of the suspect being Trevyon Terez Thomas<\/strong> (25 of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>). A warrant for his arrest was issued the following day.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 2, 2024, Thomas turned himself in to investigators at OPD. He was charged with Enticement of a Child to Produce Visual Depiction of Sexual Conduct. A bond was set by the Municipal Court Judge<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
