{"id":141413,"date":"2024-08-01T15:32:27","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T20:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=141413"},"modified":"2024-08-01T15:32:29","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T20:32:29","slug":"courtland-mississippi-man-arrested-in-panola-county-for-stealing-vehicles-in-oxford-and-water-valley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/courtland-mississippi-man-arrested-in-panola-county-for-stealing-vehicles-in-oxford-and-water-valley\/","title":{"rendered":"Courtland, Mississippi Man Arrested in Panola County for Stealing Vehicles in Oxford and Water Valley"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On July 23, 2024, the <strong>Oxford Police Department<\/strong> responded to the 400 block of <strong>Bramlett Boulevard<\/strong> for a reported stolen vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The responding officer then reviewed footage from security cameras nearby and was able to locate a suspicious male, later identified as <strong>Preston Lee Goodwin<\/strong>, 46, of <strong>Courtland, Mississippi<\/strong>, enter the vehicle and leave the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Detectives responded to the scene and began to work the case and were able to locate the vehicle in <strong>Panola County <\/strong>and another vehicle that had been stolen out from <strong>Water Valley<\/strong>, Mississippi.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goodwin was charged with Motor Vehicle &#8211;
