{"id":141365,"date":"2024-07-30T16:09:39","date_gmt":"2024-07-30T21:09:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=141365"},"modified":"2024-08-13T13:28:41","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T18:28:41","slug":"graceland-too-reopens-after-10-years-to-host-elvis-week-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/graceland-too-reopens-after-10-years-to-host-elvis-week-celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"Graceland Too Reopens After 10 Years; To Host Elvis Week Celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After a decade of anticipation, <strong>Graceland Too<\/strong> will open its doors to the public for the first time in ten years, offering $5 tours on <strong>Saturday, August 17, 2024<\/strong>, led by new owner <strong>Marie Underwood<\/strong> and sponsored by the <strong>Holly Springs Tourism Office<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reopening event marks the beginning of the first annual three-day <strong>Elvis Week<\/strong> celebration in<strong> Holly Springs, Mississippi<\/strong>, commemorating the beloved private museum and celebrating all things Elvis Presley with themed activities and live entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Event Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Friday, August 16: Blues on the Back Porch<\/strong>\u00a0<br>Blues performances by <strong>Tim Hembree &amp; Big Heath<\/strong>, karaoke, and open mic sessions with food and drinks from local vendors. Evening festivities from 4\u20139 pm. Tickets: $5 (cash only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saturday, August 17: Blue Hawaii Theme<\/strong>\u00a0<br>Dress in luau attire for a day of family fun, including kids&#8217; Elvis workshops, a water slide, Elvis performances &amp; comedy show, and more. Graceland Too Tours from owner Marie Underwood every hour. Entertainment from noon\u20138 pm. Tickets: $5 (cash only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sunday, August 18: Gospel &amp; Revival Service<\/strong><br>Heartfelt gospel service from 9\u201310:30 am on the Graceland Too porch (free admission). <strong>Duwayne Burnside&#8217;s Bar &amp;
