\"CadillacFunkFoto\"<\/a>Cadillac Funk<\/strong>\u2019s debut record is out now! Andrew Yurkow<\/strong> and friends have been making music in this band for over five years now, and this ten-track collection takes me right back to every Cadillac Funk show I\u2019ve attended. It\u2019s like having Rooster\u2019s Blues House<\/strong> in your house! <\/span><\/p>\n

The album was recorded and sound engineered by Cedric Williams<\/strong> at Quarter After Blue<\/a><\/strong> in Tupelo. Yurkow\u2019s deep voice and guitar riffs take center stage from beginning to end, plus he plays keys on three of the tracks. Throughout the record, local artist and musician James Daigle<\/strong><\/a> holds down the low end on bass while Joseph Reed<\/strong> plays drums, and Daniel Hodges<\/strong> plays a mad saxophone. Johnny Blackthorn White<\/strong><\/a> shines as the featured vocalist on \u201cNothin for Free\u201d and \u201cNever in My Arms.\u201d And Lisa Lynch Wolfe<\/strong> adds her dulcet tones to \u201cThe Way That I Love You.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The album is rife with soulful electric guitar and powerful words, and continues to completion in bluesy, funky style, telling the story of a man\u2019s strife with life through mad guitar riffs and grooves.<\/span><\/p>\n
