Records Surpassed, Campaign for Ole Miss Runs through June 2025\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With a pop of confetti and toasts of champagne, the University of Mississippi announced it has secured $1.5 billion for Now & Ever: The Campaign for Ole Miss<\/strong>, a goal passed more than a year ahead of schedule.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university has now reached the largest fundraising <\/strong>campaign goal in the state of Mississippi <\/strong>thanks to the tremendous support from thousands of proud alumni <\/strong>and friends. With the campaign running through June 30, 2025, there are still many chances to strengthen the university.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are absolutely elated to reach our $1.5 billion goal a year ahead of the Now & Ever campaign conclusion, and we are so grateful to our deeply committed alumni and friends who stepped up with generous gifts,\u201d Chancellor Glenn Boyce <\/strong>said. \u201cI extend our heartfelt appreciation to the thousands in our university family who have invested in educational opportunities for students to build their legacies here at Ole Miss.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chancellor said university leadership knew many caring Ole Miss<\/strong> supporters would step up to the challenge in a big way, and they did.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost 80,000 donors have made more than 471,000 contributions to Now & Ever: The Campaign for Ole Miss in the form of outright gifts, pledges, matches and planned gifts. A total of $720 million was committed to Oxford campus academics. Donors created 374 new scholarship endowments<\/strong> and 57 faculty support endowments<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, thus far in the campaign, $300 million was gifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center<\/strong> and $480 million to Ole Miss Athletics<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign was publicly launched on Nov. 12, 2021. Its areas of concentration are building leaders, empowering academic excellence, fueling research and innovation, creating economic opportunities and enhancing facilities for champions in every field.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile we are thrilled to reach our goal, there are still numerous opportunities to transform lives and help the university reach new heights,\u201d Boyce said.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
