Cherry tomatoes and Bella<br>Rosa varieties are good choices for heat tolerance.<br>\u25cf Select daylilies in bloom for planting in your garden.<br>\u25cf Plant zinnias and marigolds now for a second crop of flowers.<br>\u25cf Gladiolus planted now will give lovely fall blooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fertilizing<\/strong><br>\u25cf Fertilize all ornamental shrubs\/trees and annuals\/perennials with a slow-release<br>fertilizer.<br>\u25cf Fertilize camellias with azalea-camellia fertilizer if not done earlier in the year.<br>\u25cf Fertilize tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini monthly with 5-10-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pest Control<br><\/strong>\u25cf Scout the landscape\/garden regularly for pests and treat as needed.<br>\u25cf Remove zinnias with powdery mildew and replant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pruning<\/strong><br>\u25cf Prune oleanders after blooming ends.<br>\u25cf Pinch dahlias and mums to ensure a compact growth habit.<br>\u25cf Remove blackberry fruiting canes after harvest.
