Mississippi Father Arrested for Shooting His Son"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Sunday \u2013 May 19, 2024, at approximately 2:08 am, the <strong>Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong> <strong>Deputies <\/strong>were dispatched to 806 <strong>County Road 504<\/strong> <strong>Como, Mississippi<\/strong> 38619 for a report of a shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon arrival, Deputies found <strong>William Robert Adams Jr.<\/strong> shot in the living room of the home.\u00a0 William Robert Adams Jr. was rushed to the MED in Memphis due to the injuries he had sustained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigations arrived on scene and after investigating, the incident placed <strong>William Robert Adams Sr.<\/strong> in custody for aggravated assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Adams Sr. was transported to the <strong>Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong> where he booked.\u00a0Mr. Adams Sr. is charged with aggravated assault, and was given a bond of $100,000.00 by a <strong>Justice Court Judge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a
