Taxi company you work for and your shifts?<\/strong><\/span> Oxford Taxi. I most definitely work every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. All other shifts vary.<\/p>\n

Where are you from?<\/strong><\/span> Orlando, Florida<\/p>\n

\"\"What brought you here?<\/strong><\/span> Opportunity and safety, as I was robbed at gunpoint in Memphis, and decided it was time for a change.<\/p>\n

How long have you been driving, and what made you start?<\/strong><\/span> A little over two years, because I figured I wanted to help people and I\u2019m a safe driver.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite type of fare?<\/strong><\/span> Every person who is sociable and kind. I talk to the people in my taxi as if I\u2019ve known them for years; there is no subject I stay away from.<\/p>\n

Have you ever picked up a celebrity, or do you have a favorite customer?<\/strong><\/span> Never picked up a celebrity, but I worked John Currence\u2019s birthday party one year.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the funniest thing that\u2019s happened while you were on duty lately?<\/strong><\/span> I had a female customer whisper obscenities in my ear right in front of her boyfriend.<\/p>\n

What taxi laws do you think Oxford should change?<\/strong><\/span> The OPD & UPD should have to have concrete proof for DUIs and public drunks before an arrest can be made. Also, the midnight \/ 1 am closing time for bars is ridiculous, and people should be able to drink on The Square like on Beale Street.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite thing to drink when you\u2019re off duty?<\/strong><\/span> Whiskey & Coke, typically, but mixed drinks and Jager bombs are nice, too.<\/p>\n

How do you spend your free time?<\/strong><\/span> I try to spend as much time I can with my three-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n

Do you have any other jobs?<\/strong><\/span> Yes, I am a licensed, nationally certified and insured Massage Therapist at Full Spectrum Health & Massage.<\/p>\n

Whatcha been listening to lately?<\/strong><\/span> Rage Against the Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers.<\/p>\n

Do you have a favorite movie?<\/strong><\/span> The Matrix<\/em> trilogy and V For Vendetta<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Read any good books lately?<\/strong><\/span> Inheritance<\/em> by Christopher Paolini\u2014the last in the Eragon<\/em> series.<\/p>\n

How do you feel about the Black Bear?<\/strong><\/span> I think it was about the best choice, out of a line of the worst options in the history of the school. That\u2019s the PC answer. However, I feel it\u2019s stupid to have a mascot that\u2019s not even very plentiful in the state.<\/p>\n

What do you like best about living in Oxford?<\/strong><\/span> It is a safer town than many other places I have lived.<\/p>\n
