On March 30, 2024, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> conducted a traffic stop on Jackson Avenue<\/strong> for a DUI investigation. During the stop, the officer was informed of guns in the vehicle, that were later identified as stolen. Kobe Dewayne Bady<\/strong>, 24, of Tupelo, Mississippi<\/strong>, and Qwantavious Deshun Goree<\/strong>, 25 of Shannon<\/strong>, MS were both charged with possession of a stolen firearm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bady and Goree were each taken before a Municipal Court<\/strong> judge for an initial bond hearing and each received a $15,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
