{"id":138320,"date":"2024-04-09T16:53:54","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T21:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=138320"},"modified":"2024-04-09T16:53:57","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T21:53:57","slug":"one-dead-in-wreck-on-highway-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/one-dead-in-wreck-on-highway-6\/","title":{"rendered":"One Dead in Wreck on Highway 6"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at approximately 2:22 pm, the <strong>Oxford Police Department<\/strong> received a 911 call of a wreck on <strong>Highway 6<\/strong> eastbound at the <strong>Chucky Mullins Drive<\/strong> bridge.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers, along with the <strong>Oxford Fire Department<\/strong> and EMS, arrived and found a 1997 Ford F-150 upside down but the driver of the vehicle was already deceased. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
