This artwork is showcased on the festival merchandise, including t-shirts, posters and light pole banners displayed around the downtown square. This year\u2019s distinguished artist is <strong>Jules Mikell<\/strong>, an Oxford native who has recently begun doing commissioned artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With more than 25 awards, including the 2023 Best Large Festival by the Mississippi Tourism Association, Best Festival by&nbsp;<em>Mississippi Magazine&nbsp;<\/em>and a Top 20 event by the Southeast Tourism Society, Double Decker brings more than 75,000 attendees for a weekend celebrating food, music and the arts. Highlights of this year\u2019s event include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>A Southern showcase \u2013 from tempting tasty bites to inspiring one-of-a-kind art<\/em><\/strong>: The festival preserves its original charm while expanding, offering diverse Southern culinary delights and more than 140 art vendors booths. The artist showcase is open on Saturday from 10 am to 5:30 pm, with a preview by the Oxford Artist Guild on Friday in the Boles Wiley Alley on the Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Kid Zone and Blues Alley:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>On Saturday April 27, The Kid Zone will be in the Lafayette County Chancery Building parking lot from 10 am to 6 pm and Blue Delta Jeans Company will host the \u201cBlue Delta Blues Alley\u201d beside The Lyric from noon to 4 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Music Lineup:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>The music kicks off on Friday, April 26<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>at 6 pm with <strong>Grace Bowers<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Conner Smith<\/strong> and <strong>Flatland Calvary<\/strong>. Users will be able to customize their preferred schedule, look up art vendor booth numbers and get real-time updates from organizers. Once available, the app will be free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival\u2019s 2024 Presenting Sponsor is The University of Mississippi Museum gifted to them by Ole Miss Athletics.
