Ah, how they carried on over the William Faulkner<\/strong> statue. I can\u2019t help but think Mr. Faulkner was chuckling at the town fussing over him decades after he left us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today people come from all around the country, indeed the world, to see Oxford<\/strong>\u2019s Square <\/strong>and Tupelo<\/strong>\u2019s downtown and have their pictures taken with Bill Beckwith<\/strong>\u2019s statues of William Faulkner and Elvis Presley<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
