Funeral Mass for local photographer and frequent Local Voice<\/strong> contributor Reynolds Russell<\/strong>, aka Billy Joe Russell<\/strong>, but known to many as Gaetano “Guy” Catelli<\/strong>, the man with the musical bicycle, will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at St. John\u2019s Catholic Church<\/strong> located at 403 University Avenue with Father Mark Shoffner<\/strong> presiding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A community memorial service and meal to celebrate Guy\u2019s life will follow at 5:30 pm at Bryant Hall<\/strong> on the University of Mississippi<\/strong> campus with Pastor Fish Robinson<\/strong> and Dr. Molly Pasco-Pranger<\/strong> presiding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All are invited to join in celebrating Guy\u2019s life and the contributions he made to his beloved Oxford. Community members are invited to share stories, memories and photos and to bring food to share as Guy loved nothing more than folks gathering for communal meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
