Oxford, Miss. (VDP)\u00a0— Velvet Ditch Productions<\/strong> will host an \u201cI Didn\u2019t Do It\u201d fundraiser concert in Oxford on\u00a0May 15\u00a0starring Paul Kevin Curtis, <\/strong>the Elvis impersonator from Corinth, Mississippi<\/strong> who was arrested last year and accused of\u00a0sending ricin through the mail to President Obama<\/strong> and others. The Kevin Curtis:\u00a0F.B.I.O.U., A Ricin Roll Concert<\/strong> will be a free event with a suggested $5 donation.\u00a0\"Kevin<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

“I can’t describe how blessed I feel right now after such\u00a0an extremely difficult year.\u00a0I can\u2019t wait to\u00a0walk out on that stage again & give you a concert you will never forget\u201d, Kevin Curtis said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doors open at\u00a07:30 pm\u00a0and the concert begins at\u00a08 pm\u00a0and lasts until\u00a010 pm.\u00a0Curtis will perform both original music and tribute artist work ranging from Johnny Cash<\/strong> to Prince<\/strong> to Elvis<\/strong>. The documentary crew of \u201cI Didn\u2019t Do It,\u201d will film the concert as part of the storyline of the film.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyone who donates $50 or more receives access to the VIP upstairs area courtesy of Square Pizza<\/strong>, Old Venice<\/strong> and more. A cash bar will be available to support the Lyric Theatre<\/strong> who generously donated the space.\u00a0\"Paul<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Velvet Ditch Productions, LLC has qualified for the Mississippi Film Incentives<\/strong> and has received the Mississippi Film and Video Alliance grant<\/strong>. They\u00a0are looking to raise $50,000 for the finishing funds for the film. On the crowdfunding site, IndieGoGo<\/strong>, there are numerous rewards at each level of giving from $5 to $5,000. The campaign ends on\u00a0May 17.<\/p>\n
