Special Meeting is at 10:30\u00a0am in the City Hall Courtroom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Notice that certain commission members will be included in the meeting via teleconference, subject to City of Oxford Code of Ordinances Section 2-82.

Pursuant to Section 21-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972 Annotated, I, Robyn Tannehill, Mayor of the City of Oxford, Mississippi, do hereby call the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of Oxford, MS, to a SPECIAL MEETING to be held on December 13, 2023 at 10:30am<\/strong>, for the transaction of important business. The meeting will be held in the 2nd floor Courtroom of City Hall. The business to be acted upon at the Special Meeting is the consideration of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Call to order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Adopt the agenda for the meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Request permission to accept a donation for the cost to repair the outdoor speaker system in the Downtown area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Request permission to allow an SRO to accompany the Oxford School District to a basketball tournament in Atlanta, GA on December 14-16, 2023, with no cost other than fuel (he will take a City car). (Jeff McCutchen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Request permission to allow an employee to attend the Court Interpreter course on December 14- 15, 2023 at an estimated cost of $350.00. (Jeff McCutchen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Request permission to allow the City Clerk to initiate the annual disbursement from GlenMede. (Ashley Atkinson)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Request permission to approve an authorize the Mayor to sign the 2023 Tree City USA application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Consider an executive session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Adjourn.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
