On October 24, 2023, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> took a report of property damage<\/a> that occurred in the pocket park located next to City Hall<\/strong>. The damage to repair and replace was approximately $4,700, which included both the fountain structure and plumbing. After investigation, Abigail Fuqua<\/strong>, 19, of Virginia Beach, Virginia<\/strong> and Madison Brown<\/strong>, 18, of Davidson, North Carolina<\/strong> were arrested and each charged with felony Malicious Mischief. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuqua and Brown were each taken before a Municipal Court<\/strong> judge for their initial bond hearing and each issued a $5,000 bond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We appreciate everyone\u2019s help in identifying these two individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
