A total of <strong>1,506<\/strong> votes were cast in Tuesday\u2019s election, excluding mail in ballots not yet received. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it is easy to skew the results and say that the bond passed with <strong>81%<\/strong> in favor based upon the 1,506 people who voted, there were about <strong>22,000<\/strong> people eligible to vote in Tuesday\u2019s election, which includes voters in the Oxford School District, both in the <strong>City of Oxford<\/strong> and outside of the city limits in <strong>Lafayette County<\/strong>.
