“I did indeed walk down the middle of South Lamar and stood under the red light at University Avenue and smoked a cigarette, flipped the butt away, and walked back up to the statue. Not one car appeared from any direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the four parts that make up who we are, they meet up under the light here. Oxford is to my left, the green rolling hills of Lafayette County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Down through the small valley and up the other side to that far away gap between the trees lives a great set of Oxford memories, up on Rivers Hill.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
