CHRIS OFFUTT<\/strong> is the author of the novels Shifty’s Boys<\/em>, The Killing Hills<\/em>, Country Dark<\/em>, and The Good Brother<\/em>; the short-story collections Kentucky Straight<\/em> and Out of the Woods<\/em>, and three memoirs: The Same River Twice<\/em>, No Heroes<\/em>, and My Father, the Pornographer<\/em>. He has written screenplays for Weeds, True Blood<\/em>, and Treme<\/em>, and has received fellowships from the Lannan <\/strong>and Guggenheim <\/strong>foundations.
