They opened a small grocery store on <strong>The Square<\/strong> and never looked back. When they did look back 40 years later, <strong>Jitney Jungle<\/strong> took up an entire block of <strong>North Lamar<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the two old grocers retired, Mrs. Levy would eventually go to <strong>Golden Years Nursing Home<\/strong>. And for years, on into his 80s, <strong>Leonard Levy<\/strong> walked into the home past men ten years younger and directed Isabel out the front door for their daily walk.
