Deputies with the <strong>Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong> responded to the area of <strong>County Road 217<\/strong> for a report of a burglary in progress. Deputies arrived on scene and found that the residence had damage to an exterior door that was caused by forced entry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a brief investigation, Deputies made contact with the suspect, <strong>Carlos Byrd<\/strong>, 32 years old of <strong>Bruce, Mississippi<\/strong>, and determined that Byrd had entered the residence by force.
