On January 5, 2023, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> was dispatched to a business in the\u00a0100 block of Thacker Road<\/strong> to take an embezzlement report. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After investigation, Preshaye Hearn<\/strong>, 20\u00a0of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>, and Sincere Swims<\/strong>, 20 of Oxford, were both arrested and charged with Embezzlement\u00a0for stealing scratch off tickets from the business. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hearn and Swims were both taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court<\/strong> judge for their initial \u00a0bond hearing and issued a $5,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
