{"id":124985,"date":"2022-12-14T12:28:36","date_gmt":"2022-12-14T18:28:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=124985"},"modified":"2022-12-14T12:28:38","modified_gmt":"2022-12-14T18:28:38","slug":"oxford-man-arrested-for-intimidating-a-witness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/oxford-man-arrested-for-intimidating-a-witness\/","title":{"rendered":"Oxford Man Arrested for Intimidating a Witness"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On November 25, 2022, the <strong>Oxford Police Department<\/strong> took a walk-in report for malicious\u00a0mischief causing over $1,000 worth of damage to a vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After investigation, <strong>Derrian Pegues<\/strong>, 23, of <strong>Oxford, Mississippi <\/strong>was arrested and charged with Felony Malicious Mischief. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pegues was taken before a\u00a0<strong>Lafayette County Justice Court<\/strong> judge and given a $2,500 bond.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 2nd, Pegues reached back out to the victim from the previous incident.
