To ensure that everyone has a fun and safe time celebrating, Oxford Police Department<\/strong> will have an increased \u00a0presence in and around the downtown Square <\/strong>area. OPD’s goal is to be proactive in preventing any disturbances or unsafe \u00a0activities, and as always, do not hesitate to contact us should the need arise. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shuttles will run from the South Oxford Center<\/strong> (the old Baptist Memorial Hospital<\/strong>) and Northwest Community College<\/strong>\u00a0parking lots beginning at 6 am before kickoff and 2 hours postgame. The NWCC and SOC parking lots will cost $30 to \u00a0park for SEC <\/strong>games. No cost to ride the shuttles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The O.U.T. buses start running at 6 am and ending 2 hours postgame \u00a0including the Jackson Avenue Center<\/strong> parking lot. There will be NO <\/strong>shuttles running from The Square to The Grove<\/strong>. Parking at Insight<\/strong> Park <\/strong>is $40 for conference games. There are no shuttles here. Fans must walk to the stadium. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be aware of no parking zones. Vehicles will be towed from designated no parking areas at the owners\u2019 expense. This \u00a0includes no parking on any highways or exit ramps. The SEC implements a clear bag policy for in-stadium use. The Oxford Police Department wants to remind everyone to store their valuables in the trunk and lock their cars. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit Oxford<\/strong> will have one of the famous Double Decker<\/strong> buses parked in front of City Hall<\/strong> on The Square near East\u00a0Jackson Avenue<\/strong> for photo opportunities on game day.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After The Game:<\/strong> <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once the fourth quarter begins in the game, Gertrude Ford<\/strong> will automatically convert to a one way street. Buses will \u00a0pick up in the power plant parking lot across from the stadium on Gertrude Ford. The Ford Center<\/strong> lot will be required to exit northbound towards Jackson Avenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lot A near the stadium and Manning Way<\/strong> will be required to turn right\u00a0towards Old Taylor Road<\/strong>. Once the University <\/strong>announces, Old Taylor Road will flow one way southbound in both lanes. \u00a0Be cautious of police officers directing traffic all around Oxford. Please be patient as we work to direct traffic for optimum traffic flow. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
