Tristan Holland<\/strong> (18 of Collierville, Tennessee<\/strong>) was formally charged today with Accessory After the Fact and given a bond of $25,000 by a Justice Court Judge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charge stems from a hit-and-run event<\/mark><\/a><\/span><\/strong> that occurred early Sunday morning, October 12, 2022 behind City Hall<\/strong> on the Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong> Square<\/strong>. Two Ole Miss<\/strong> students were run over by a man driving a Toyota <\/strong>truck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The male victim succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The female victim was eventually transferred to Regional One Medical Center<\/strong> in Memphis<\/strong>, Tennessee with critical injuries. The male victim was identified as Walker Fielder<\/strong>, an Ole Miss student from Madison, Mississippi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver was later identified as Seth Rokitka<\/strong>, 24, of Collierville, Tennessee. Rokitka was arrested Monday at 8:30 am after crashing his truck in Marshall County, Mississippi<\/span><\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. Tristan Holland was arrested in Shelby County, Tennessee and faced extradition<\/span><\/mark><\/a><\/strong> to Oxford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to public speculation on social media platforms, Oxford Police were forced to dispel rumors of the incident.<\/span><\/mark><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
