On September 29, 2022, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> received a call about a robbery taking place \u00a0at an apartment complex on Old Taylor Road<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within two minutes of the call being dispatched,\u00a0officers arrived on scene and located several males running towards a vehicle matching the description the caller gave. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle before the vehicle left the\u00a0apartment complex, and an investigation ensued after the vehicle was stopped. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the stolen property was found in the vehicle and officers took Trinity Brooks<\/strong>, 21, of Batesville<\/strong>, Mississippi, Deandre Kidd<\/strong>, 27, of Oxford<\/strong>, and Tycarious Collins<\/strong>, 20 of Oxford, into custody and charged each\u00a0with Armed Robbery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brooks, Kidd, and Collins were each taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court<\/strong> judge for their \u00a0initial bond hearing and each issued a $30,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
