On August 5, 2022, after a lengthy investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division<\/strong> into Spyder Moving Services<\/strong>, charges were filed against Charles Joiner<\/strong> (54 of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>) for Accessory to Embezzlement Under Contract. He was taken into custody at the business on West Oxford Loop<\/strong> and given a bond of $5,000.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 7, 2022, investigators executed several search warrants in Oxford and Pontotoc<\/strong>. Investigators were able to recover property from storage facilities in Oxford and Pontotoc returning property to at least seven victims. We would like to thank the Pontotoc Police Department<\/strong> and Pontotoc Fire Department<\/strong> for their assistance in this case.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spyder Moving Services owner, Vladyslav “Vlad” Ladygin<\/strong> (26 of Oxford, Mississippi), has yet to be located by law enforcement and is wanted for two counts of Embezzlement Under Contract. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If anyone knows  of his location please call the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> at 662-232-2400. This is an ongoing  investigation and more charges could be added at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UPDATE: Vladyslav “Vlad” Ladygin, 26, of Oxford, was taken into custody on August 11th, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was charged with two counts of Embezzlement under contract and was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge and issued a $25,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is still ongoing and more charges are currently pending in this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
