The Oxford Police Department<\/strong> and University Police Department<\/strong> have partnered with the Oxford Field Office of the FBI<\/strong> and the Mississippi Attorney General\u2019s Office<\/strong> for additional resources and assistance where needed in the case of missing person Jimmie “Jay” Lee<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The joint investigation is ongoing. As of July 19, 2022, officers are:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Continuing to follow up on all tips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Digital warrants have been returned and officers are reviewing the data. – We are still awaiting numerous other digital search warrants. – More physical area searches have been conducted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Additional video footage has been obtained and reviewed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
