Winchester Ammunition awarded $51.8 million modification to existing U.S. Department of Defense contract<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Winchester Ammunition<\/strong> has been awarded a $51.8 million modification to an existing contract for manufacturing 5.56 mm, 7.62 mm, and .50-caliber ammunition for the U.S. Department of Defense<\/strong>. The ammunition produced under this contract is manufactured at Winchester\u2019s center-fire ammo facility in Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This second source contract award from DOD follows a recent U.S. Army<\/strong> pistol contract for the world\u2019s largest small caliber ammunition enterprise, along with many other ammo contracts with state and federal agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
