Get ready for one of Oxford\u2019s favorite tasting events, now in a springtime edition! Grab your best wine buddy and choose a white or ros\u00e9 to bring to the competition. Each team brings three bottles of the same wine, which all participants will blind taste, then vote on their favorite. The team that brought the wine with the most votes wins an epic wine stash\u2014one of each bottle entered in the competition! Tickets are just $40 per team ($45 if you\u2019re not a YAC<\/strong> member). You can even take the guess work out of choosing a wine by purchasing a special \u201cSommelier ticket\u201d for $100\/$110, which means the participating store will choose for you and deliver the bottles to the Powerhouse<\/strong>. Sounds like a good time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ole Miss<\/strong> chapter of Ducks Unlimited<\/strong> and Rebel Realty<\/strong> are throwing a huge crawfish boil that will include raffles and auctions for brand new 2022 Ducks Unlimited merchandise. The 9th annual event will appeal to outdoorsmen of all stripes, so don\u2019t miss this chance to score some outstanding gear such as guns, knives, and decoys. Tickets are only $50 ($35 for students) and that will get you all the crawfish your heart desires, a bottomless cup, and an annual Ducks Unlimited membership. Sponsorships are $400 to include admission for two, plus lots of extra goodies. Or, you can go all-out with a Corporate Sponsor Table ticket for $700, which will get admission for eight people, a reserved table, and even more goodies. Diamond-level sponsorships are also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Oxford\u2019s hottest LGBTQIA+ dance party and drag show is back again with a fairy-themed event that is sure to appeal to Oxford\u2019s most fabulous residents. Code Pink<\/strong>\u2019s Instagram post announced, \u201cDRESSCODE: Winged ones and magical folk. Fairies, angels, demons, nymphs, mermaids, and Disney princesses.\u201d Go ahead and start working on your costume and get ready to dance the night away with a couple hundred of your besties. Bring your dollars for the drag show, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cedar Oaks Guild<\/strong> is hosting a free Easter Egg Dyeing Party<\/strong> Sunday, April 10 from 2\u20134 pm. They will provide hard boiled eggs and dyes, plus crafts and cookies. Tuesday, April 12, Campus Recreation<\/strong> hosts their Great Egg Hunt<\/strong>, with a Kid Egg Hunt<\/strong> for children ages 8 and under, and a Relay Race<\/strong> for 9 and older. The events starts at the Trail Kiosk<\/strong> on the South Campus Rail Trail<\/strong>. On Saturday, April 16, catch the OPC Easter Egg Hunt<\/strong> at mTrade Park<\/strong> starting at 9 am, then get pictures with the Easter Bunny at R&R Cookies<\/strong> from 10 am to noon. Every bunny will have fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n After two years of Covid restrictions, OXCM <\/strong>will host its 2022 season opener, which will be \u201ca big block-party and old-fashioned country fair rolled into one.\u201d You can expect all the fresh spring produce like strawberries, lettuces, carrots, broccoli, and cabbage, plus plenty of other locally made products.
