On March 27, 2022, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> conducted a traffic safety checkpoint on\u00a0Highway 30<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the checkpoint David McLaughlin<\/strong>, 51, of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong> provided a fake ID and was requested to pull over. During the traffic stop, felony schedule 1 narcotics were found. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McLaughlin was taken into custody on a charge of Felony Possession of Narcotics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

McLaughlin was\u00a0taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $3,500\u00a0bond.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
