Kenny Brown, Rivers Rutherford and Leslie Satcher All to Appear for Special Conversations and Performances in the Sanders Soundstage<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GRAMMY Museum\u00ae <\/sup>Mississippi <\/strong>has revealed the upcoming\u00a0 lineup of artists who will be featured in their Words & Music: A Songwriter Series<\/strong>. Artists who will visit the\u00a0 Mississippi Museum to participate in an intimate conversation and performance will include American blues\u00a0slide guitarist Kenny Brown<\/strong> on Monday, March 21<\/strong>, Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame inductee Rivers Rutherford\u00a0 <\/strong>on July 11<\/strong>, and Nashville singer\/songwriter Leslie Satcher<\/strong> on October 10<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are so thrilled to be welcoming such talented artists and songwriters to our Museum this year,” said Emily\u00a0Havens<\/strong>, Executive Director of GRAMMY Museum Mississippi. “Kenny Brown, Rivers Rutherford, and Leslie\u00a0Satcher have all made such incredible contributions to American music, and we can’t wait to have them here to\u00a0 tell their stories.”\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenny Brown has lent his talents to recordings by artists including R.L. Burnside, Jojo Herman, Junior\u00a0 Kimbrough, Cyndi Lauper, and The North Mississippi Allstars, among many others. Rivers Rutherford has written songs for such iconic artists as Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, The Highwaymen, Reba McEntire,\u00a0Dolly Parton, and many others. Leslie Satcher has written or co-written songs that have been recorded by\u00a0 artists such as Sheila E., Vince Gill, Ariana Grande, Willie Nelson, George Strait, and many more.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words & Music: Kenny Brown will take place on March 21 at 7 pm in the Sanders Soundstage.<\/strong>\u00a0Tickets for all programs in the Words and Music series are $15 for GRAMMY Museum Mississippi Members and $20 for non-members. Tickets are currently on sale at grammymuseumms.org<\/a>. The events will feature a\u00a0 moderated discussion followed by a performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
