On January 19, 2022, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> responded to a residence on County Road 102<\/strong> for a suspicious vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Clayton Miller<\/strong>, 39, of Drew, Mississippi<\/strong>, was arrested for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large amount of phone cable was discovered in the back of Miller\u2019s vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 20th, officers were called back to CR 102 by AT&T<\/strong>, who reported their phone cable had been cut and stolen. Further investigation \u00a0led to Miller being charged with Grand Larceny for the theft of the phone cable. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Lafayette County Justice Court Judge<\/strong> issued Miller a $10,000 bond for the charges, $5,000 for each charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
