On July 28, 2021, officers from the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> responded to the 300 block of Country View<\/strong> for a report of a domestic dispute possibly involving a weapon. OPD dispatch advised that a  female called and stated that she had been threatened by a male with a weapon.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once officers arrived, Lee Smith<\/strong>, 28, of Oxford<\/strong>, Mississippi<\/strong>, was arrested and charged with Possession of a  Firearm by a Felon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smith was given a $10,000 bond by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
