On July 25, 2021, officers with the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> were notified of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle on Molly Barr Road<\/strong> as a result of a domestic violence incident.  Officers responded to the scene along with the Oxford Fire Department<\/strong> and EMS<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim was transported by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon further investigation, Laquandra Dye<\/strong>, 26, of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong> was arrested and charged with Aggravated  Assault and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Lafayette County Justice Court judge issued Dye a $85,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
