On May 29, 2021, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> received multiple reports spanning from May 29th through May 30th of auto burglaries in the areas of Eagle Point Loop<\/strong>, Chinkapin Loop<\/strong>, and the Ricky D. Britt<\/strong>. Multiple guns and large amounts of cash were stolen. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation led to the arrests of Kenshawn Harden<\/strong> (19 of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>) and Tyler Owens<\/strong> (20 also of Oxford). Each were charged with six counts of Auto Burglary and two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Auto Burglary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Lafayette County Justice Court<\/strong> judge issued each a $50,000 bond, however, Harden\u2019s bond was revoked as Harden was out on a previous felony bond and a hold was placed on Owens by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
