Looking for a quick getaway? Why not a trip to the Delta for some live music and brews? Cleveland, Mississippi\u2019s annual beer and music festival, Pour Mississippi<\/strong>, will take place from 2\u20136 pm Saturday, May 8, 2021<\/strong>, the day before Mother\u2019s Day. With live music by Lighnin\u2019 Malcolm<\/strong>, beer tastings, and food vendors, the event will feature Mississippi and regional brewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s perfect because downtown will be walking distance to our many local businesses, restaurants, shops, and the new Cotton House hotel,\u201d said Keep Cleveland Boring<\/a> <\/strong>Event Coordinator, Rachel Carson<\/strong>. \u201cSo you can stay downtown, walk everywhere, and you won\u2019t have to drive while you visit the downtown area.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the music and beer, two food trucks will be serving the festival. Clarksdale, Mississippi-based Houndog Mule\u2019s Street Diner<\/strong><\/a> serves up an authentic Australian food experience featuring meat pies (muddies), gravy fries, and more. Local to Cleveland, Cypress Bread Co.<\/a><\/strong> will be serving up pretzels along with their \u201cold-world, rustic breads.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the beers that will be available at the festival include Boston Beer, Cathead Distillery, Chandeleur, Crosstown, Ghost River, Grind City Brewing, Hop City, Memphis Made, New Belgium, Parish, Southern Prohibition, Stone, Sweet Water, Terrapin, Threefoot, Wicked Weed, Wiseacre, Yellow Hammer, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
