Today the Mississippi Department of Health<\/strong> (MSDH) is reporting just 37 new cases of COVID-19<\/strong> in Mississippi <\/strong>and no new deaths. This is exactly what the MSDH reported one week ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since February 2020 now stands at 309,223, with 7,153 deaths.\u00a0297,362 Mississippians are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 19 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 157 patients currently hospitalized for confirmed COVID-19. There are 58 patients currently in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19. There are 173 available intensive care beds statewide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
