About the Author:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malcolm Brooks was raised in the rural foothills of the California Sierras. A carpenter by trade, he has lived in Montana for most of two decades. His writing has appeared in Gray’s Sporting Journal<\/em>, Outside<\/em>, Sports Afield<\/em>, and Montana Quarterly<\/em>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julia Whelan is an actor, writer, and narrator of over 400 audiobooks. Recently named one of AudioFile <\/em>magazine’s Golden Voices, she has won numerous awards, including the 2019 Best Female Narrator Audie for Tara Westover’s Educated<\/em><\/a>.
